Despite i am german, sausages have never been my favorite kind of food (i know, thats crazy, right?). However, i wanted to celebrate "alla korvars dag", which means the day of all kinds of sausages, with my own creations. 

The best thing is that my sausages can be made out of meat or vegetarian, it depends on your imagination.

I made two hot dogs, one with ketchup and one with mustard

and a bread with some slices of salami.

The sausages, buns and the slice of bread are crocheted after the patten by Lauren Espy from the book "Crochet cafe- Recipes for Amigurumi crochet patterns".

The salami is created after the pattern by Lucia Förthmann from the book "Spiel mit in meiner Häkelkueche".

I really enjoy creating those play food alernatives. What do you think?
