Tabaluga

This winter i made a present to a good friend and her newborn. And here is the result: a Tabaluga! Do you know him?

Tabaluga is a german-australian television series, created by the german musician Peter Maffay where main character is the last of the dragons who lives in a magical place inhabitated by talking animals.

So I created my own version of Tabaluga and this time I had no pattern that I followed.

I started with the feet and legs, the tail and hands and arms.

To make sure that the toy will be extra safe to be hugged by a baby i crocheted in all parts directly and I did not sew them on afterwards, which would have been an alternative, but not safe enough.
